Paldo Hoejip

Paldo Hoejip is a raw fish restaurant in Yeonji-dong, Jongno, Seoul, near Jongno 5-ga Station. It serves a course of aged hoe, grilled herring, flying fish roe gimbap, and spicy braised croaker, with a choice of jiri or maeuntang at the end. After the hoe is ordered, a series of basic side dishes and soup arrive in sequence. The room is loud enough that conversation is difficult because sound reflects off the interior walls when the restaurant is busy.
