Ogotto Pocha is a seafood pocha in the back alleys behind YBM in Jongno, Seoul, serving Pohang-style makhoe and whole golbaengi. The makhoe is eaten four ways, wrapped with rice and vegetables along with onion, gim, and perilla leaf, and the meal finishes with haemul ramyeon. The owner explains how to eat the hoe one by one, and the fish changes with the season among chamgajami, mulgajami, and seongdae. The space is small, so getting a table without a reservation is difficult, and the room is loud enough that conversation cannot be heard.
