Myeongdong Kalguksu

Myeongdong Kalguksu is a Seoul restaurant in Jongno-gu that serves yukgaejang kalguksu, deulkkae kalguksu, and beef kongnamul bap. Its kongguksu is ground in-house and served thick, and the basic side dishes are geotjeori kimchi, muchae, and kongnamul. The restaurant has a second floor, but seats run short at lunch when crowds arrive, and it is also open on Saturdays. Ordering several dishes at lunch draws looks from the staff.
