Myeongdong Jjigae Village

Myeongdong Jjigae Maeul is a stew restaurant in the basement of a back alley in Jongno 3-ga, near Pimatgol Songhae-gil. It serves kimchi stew and altang, and the stew is brought to a boil at the table. A medium raw-meat kimchi stew serves two to three people and comes with plenty of tofu and meat, making it suitable for sharing. The basement layout leaves the seating arrangement cluttered.
