Mister Yeonji-dong Sundubu

Mr. Yeonjidong Sundubu is a specialty restaurant next to the Doosan Art Center on the inner side of Jongno 5-ga Station, serving several kinds of sundubu jjigae. It offers seafood, oyster, and ham-and-cheese sundubu, along with pajeon and makgeolli, and the broth is not spicy with generous amounts of solid ingredients. Each sundubu jjigae comes with a raw egg and dolsotbap, and hot water is poured into the emptied stone pot so you can eat the scorched rice and sungnyung. At lunchtime office workers crowd in and line up, so it gets busy during meal hours.
