Maragongbang

Maragongbang is a Chinese restaurant in Seoul where diners pick ingredients for malatang and malaxiangguo from a self-serve bar. Malatang comes in spice levels from mild level 0 to level 3, and the menu also includes jisanseon, guobaorou, huabing, and xiaolongbao. At lunchtime the restaurant gets crowded, but tables turn over quickly and a seat opens shortly after ordering even when the line is long. The space is small and full of people, so moving through it is cramped.
