Mangata

Mangata is a restaurant serving Scandinavian-style courses in a small alley in Samcheong-dong. It combines duck risotto, shrimp open sandwiches, sea bass dishes, and perilla leaf gelato with ingredients familiar to Northern European cooking. Reservations are required, the meal takes about 1 hour 30 minutes, and the courtyard of a renovated hanok is visible from every table. Tables are close together, making conversation uncomfortable.
