Hoi Sik is a chicken restaurant between Anguk Station and Bukchon and Samcheong-dong, serving dak hanmari, North Korean-style dak gaejang, and chicken gui kalguksu. The broth is simmered for a long time in a cauldron with medicinal herbs, and the chicken is eaten with kalguksu and rice cakes. On weekend evenings the wait runs over 30 minutes, and guests check their place in line through CatchTable before entering. The large wood-toned space has a hanok feel, and minari seafood pajeon and flame-grilled ojingeo bokkeum are available on the side.
