Kim Gwontae Tonkatsu Baekban

Kim Gwontae Donkatsu Baekban is a donkatsu and baekban restaurant on Gyeonghuigung 1-gil in Sajik-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, behind Gyeonghuigung Palace in Sinmun-ro. It serves donkatsu topped with a generous amount of sweet, savory sauce containing finely chopped tofu, alongside doenjang jjigae and side dishes such as cucumber muchim. The donkatsu and side dishes can be ordered as unlimited refills, and although the waiting area is spacious at lunch, a wait is common. A single serving is large, so additional refills are not easy, and the price range is on the higher side.
