Kangane Tteokbokki

Ganggane Tteokbokki is a snack shop at the entrance of Gwangjang Market, next to Exit 8 of Jongno 5-ga Station, selling tteokbokki with shredded radish and handmade fried items. Thick rice garaetteok goes into a clinging sauce sweetened by crisp mu-chae, served with gim-mari and vegetable fries. A queue forms even on weekdays but clears quickly, and there are standing tables inside. There are no seats and the interior is narrow, so eating for long is difficult.
