Jongno Halmeoni Kalguksu Jongno Main Branch in Ikseon-dong is an old kalguksu restaurant serving kalguksu, kaljebi, and kalmandu. The noodles are made in-house, thick and coarse, and served in a rich anchovy broth, with bibim kalguksu and hand mandu also on offer. At lunch the line moves quickly even when there is a wait, and you can watch mandu being folded after you step inside. The noodles are coarse and thick, so it is not the place for anyone expecting soft kalguksu.
