Jongno Bunsik

Jongno Bunsik is a small old-fashioned snack shop near Jonggak Station in Jongno, Seoul, selling tteokbokki, fried items, gimbap, sundae and ramyeon. Its signature twigim beombeok mixes fried items with tteokbokki sauce and a separate tteokkochi seasoning, and the tteokbokki leans sweeter than spicy. The interior is styled as an old snack shop, with walls covered in sticky notes and graffiti. The space is not large, so tables are narrow and the ends of the fried items are on the hard side.
