Jeonjujip

Jeonju Jip is a Korean restaurant in the grilled fish alley of Sinjin Market near Dongdaemun Station, serving charcoal-grilled fish and whole squid bokkeum. Typical orders pair a choice of grilled sawara, mackerel, or imyeonsu with whole squid bokkeum, and side dishes and doenjang soup come with the meal. Ordering is simple: pick a fish and add whole squid. There are tables on the first floor and a seating area on the second floor, and the space is cramped with narrow gaps between tables, so it gets crowded at peak times.
