IDA is a Western restaurant on Seosunra-gil in Gwonnon-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul. It rotates seasonal ingredients so the same menu item comes out differently each time, and dishes include umami pasta, ppolppoppo, and cob salad, with the ingredients and cooking method explained for each dish. Only one table on the first floor and one on the second floor look out at the palace wall, so a reservation is needed, and the food is good but the portions run small. The wine list leans toward high-acid styles such as New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, so choose something else if you want a softer taste.
