Hyeongje Naengmyeon

Hyeongje Naengmyeon is a naengmyeon restaurant in the Dongdaemun shopping district alleys of Seoul that serves mul naengmyeon and kodari hoe naengmyeon. The white mul naengmyeon comes with a sweet market-style broth and garnishes, and Sokcho kodari hoe naengmyeon and large meat mandu can also be ordered. The noodles are made from 99% sweet potato starch with a translucent color, and beef bone warm broth is served alongside. The sweet potato noodles have a chewy texture like dangmyeon rather than the springy bite of buckwheat noodles.
