Hwangtae Haejangguk

Hwangtae Haejangguk is a restaurant in Inui-dong, Jongno, Seoul, five minutes from Jongno 3-ga Station, serving hwangtae haejangguk and hwangtae gui. The milky, mild broth is made by simmering hwangtae and holds a large amount of kongnamul, and the hwangtae gui is eaten alongside it. It is open only from morning until 3 p.m., and the broth is seasoned with saeujeot. The interior is small, so a wait forms at weekday lunch.
