Hando Samgyeopsal

Handosamgyeopsal is an old restaurant near Jongno 3-ga Station that serves frozen samgyeopsal and chadolbagi. The thick-cut frozen pork belly is grilled on a griddle covered with foil, and served with pa-jeori, kimchi, and kongnamul-guk. On weekend evenings the tables are almost all full, and there are waits on weekdays too, with the foil on the griddle changed partway through the meal. Portions are on the small side, and the prices are high for frozen samgyeopsal.
