Gongpyeongdong Kkomjangeo

Gongpyeongdong Kkomjangeo is a long-running eel restaurant in Jongno, Seoul, serving seasoned and salt-grilled kkomjangeo. The seasoning is mildly spicy and the salt-grilled version is plain, and most orders arrive already grilled. After 6 p.m. there are often no seats left, and the seasoned and salted eel can each be ordered first, tasted, and then added to. Seats are packed close together, and the room is loud with music and customers.
