Danmak Jonggak

Danmak Jonggak is a Korean barbecue restaurant near Jonggak Station in Seoul that grills pork makchang, beef makchang, and samgyeopsal. The makchang is seared at very high heat so the outside turns crisp while the inside stays moist, and staff grill the meat at the table. Pa makchang is eaten with large scallions, and the meal ends with bokkeumbap. The distinct flavor of makchang is pronounced, which can be uncomfortable for sensitive palates.
