Chebudong Janchijip

Chebudong Janchijip is a noodle shop in the Seochon Chebudong alley, a two-minute walk from Exit 2 of Gyeongbokgung Station. It serves janchi guksu, bibim guksu, and deulkkae kalguksu, along with jeon such as haemul pajeon and nokdu jeon, and offers a selection of makgeolli from across the country. Visitors come for a glass of makgeolli after hiking Inwangsan or Bugaksan, or as a second stop in the evening, and customers remain past mealtime. The interior is crowded and loud when many customers are present.
