Barakat Contemporary

Barakat Contemporary is a contemporary art exhibition space at the entrance of Samcheong-dong-gil, at the three-way intersection leading to Cheongwadae. It presents contemporary art by artists from Africa, the Americas, Asia, the Middle East, Europe and other cultural regions, and has recently shown established Korean artists. It opened in 2016, half of the spacious gallery is divided into a second floor, and the Mark Dion exhibition could be viewed for free without a reservation. Some exhibitions require a reservation, so checking before a visit is necessary.
