Bangtae Makguksu

Bangtae Makguksu is a Korean restaurant in an Insadong alley that serves mul makguksu, bibim makguksu, kalguksu and dumplings. The mul makguksu comes with a clean cold meat broth, and the bibim makguksu is also served with cold broth alongside baek kimchi and yeolmu kimchi. On weekday lunchtimes, a wait can form with office workers from nearby, and the interior is a renovated hanok. The makguksu is on the sweet side, so it feels heavy if you do not eat it sweet.
