The Ssanghwa Headquarters

The Ssanghwa Headquarters is a tea house near Dongdaemun Station in Jongno-gu, Seoul, serving ssanghwa-cha and traditional teas. It focuses on herbal teas and draws many foreign and older customers. A walk of about 300 meters from Dongdaemun Station Exit 9 leads through an alley to a hanok-style space with private rooms. The ondol room floors are as warm as a jjimjilbang, and staff dressed as uinyeo explain the teas and desserts.
