The Forest Choso Chaekbang

The Soop Choso Chaekbang is a bookstore and cafe on a walking path on the slopes of Inwangsan in Seoul, selling coffee and naturally leavened bread and desserts. Drinks and bread are ordered on the first floor, and the second-floor indoor and outdoor terrace and garden seats look down over Namsan and the city. The building was converted from a former security post for the Blue House, and traces of the old post remain; it is a walk of about ten minutes up from Yun Dong-ju Literature House. The parking lot is small, so finding an empty space on weekends is difficult and cars must be moved for double parking.
