Red-bean bread (Danpatppang)

Bukchon Myeongin Danpatppang is a small bakery in the Gwanghwamun area selling danpatppang, chapssalppang and croquettes. The saengcream danpatppang is filled edge to edge with soft cream and contains lightly sweetened red bean paste with whole beans, while the walnut pie is made with finely crushed walnuts. The danpatppang dough is fermented to a moderate degree, and the potato croquette does not hold much filling. The small shop is takeout only.
