Namusaet Chatjip is a hanok tea house in the Insadong alleys of Jongno-gu, Seoul, with separate floor-seating and table areas and a small garden. It uses domestic tea leaves and house-made syrups, and its patbingsu is made in-house with red bean skins still intact and a faint medicinal-herb taste. Ssanghwacha comes with generous toppings and leans bitter, while baedoraji-cha is mild and sweet. In winter, cold air reaches the window seats, so dress warmly.
