Hakrim Dabang is a second-floor coffee shop that opened in 1956, about a five-minute walk from Hyehwa Station. It serves Vienna coffee, parfaits, and cheesecake, along with hand-drip coffee and ginger tea, and keeps classical music, old tables, and LP records. On weekends the line often runs 20 to 30 minutes, and after being shown to a seat, customers order at the counter and the drinks are brought to them. Seats are close together, which makes conversation uncomfortable.
