doochae

Duchae is a cafe selling coffee and bread in a back alley behind the Hongik University Daehangno Art Center in Yeongeon-dong, Jongno. Scones and croissants come in several kinds, and palmiers, fougasses, and chocolate cake are also served. The space connects two houses with different atmospheres and includes an area selling ceramics and pottery, a first-floor terrace, and an old second floor. The coffee is ordinary and the ciabatta is plain.
