Sanchez Makgeolli

Sanchez Makgeolli is a bar in the basement of an alley next to Exit 1 of Anguk Station in Jongno-gu, Seoul, serving makgeolli and jeon in a Mexican-style space. Its signature dish, the American potato jeon, tops shredded potato with cheese powder, bacon and egg, and is eaten dipped in raw egg yolk. The bar stocks several kinds of makgeolli and also sells anju such as bajirak suljjim alongside the jeon. Cooking takes a long time, so food comes out late.
