Seoubong Coastal Observatory

Seowubong Coastal Observatory sits on Seowubong-gil next to Hamdeok Beach, looking out over Hamdeok Beach and the emerald sea. Trails along the ridge pass rapeseed fields, sunflowers, and grazing horses and goats, and on clear days Hallasan Baengnokdam comes into view. In the morning the water color is clearer, and from the middle of Seowubong you see Hamdeok and Jocheon, while the summit shows Bukchon, Gimnyeong, and wind turbines, with both sunrise and sunset visible. The path is low and easy to walk, so going around with children is not difficult.
