Namasaengimot is a small ecological pond in Sinchon-ri, Jocheon-eup, near the Jeju coastal road, Dakmeoreu, and the harbor. Water does not dry up year-round, so plants and animals can be seen in every season, including Namasaengi turtles and carp as long as an adult forearm. It was originally two ponds separated by a farm road, used to draw water for farming, and its name comes from prayers for a son at Chilseongjedan. A cafe sits right next to the pond.
