Jwagusan Cheonmundae sits at the trailhead to the summit, past Jwagusan Hyuyangnim, and is an observatory for viewing stars and the sun. In a reserved session, visitors look at sunspots and watch virtual reality and constellation footage. The session is a 90-minute course that moves through the first, second, and third floors for 30 minutes each, and the third floor holds six small telescopes and one large telescope. Rain or clouds make it difficult to see stars directly.
