Hanok Cafe Haengwon

Hanok Cafe Haengwon is a hanok tea house in an alley near Pungnammun and Nambu Market in Jeonju. It serves ssanghwatang boiled long with medicinal herbs, unsweetened danhobak sikhye, and susubukumi with a full filling. The place began as a gwonbeon during the Japanese colonial period and has continued since 1928, and on Saturdays at 4 p.m. there are gayageum, daegeum, and pansori performances. It sits inside an alley on the Nambu Market side, so it does not stand out easily.
