Hallasan Sokbat Shelter

Sokbat Shelter is an unmanned shelter on the Seongpanak Trail in Hallasan National Park, the first shelter on the route from the Seongpanak Visitor Center up to Baengnokdam. It sits 4 km from the trailhead, about 1 hour 30 minutes away, and has an indoor space of roughly 5 to 6 pyeong where hikers can eat the food they brought and rest. A toilet is inside the shelter, and the shelter tends to be crowded during daylight hours. There is no water at the toilet sink for washing hands, and no drinking water is supplied.
