Seongsan Ilchulbong

Seongsan Ilchulbong is a sunrise viewpoint in Seongsan, Seogwipo, where visitors watch the sunrise and the surrounding landscape from the peak. From the top, the view looks down over the sea in front of Seongsan. The climb usually takes about 15 minutes, but the path is entirely stairs, so it is strenuous enough to work up a sweat even 30 minutes before sunrise. The route to the peak charges a fee and is separate from the free coastal walking path.
