The Olympic Memorial Tower in Jeju was built to commemorate the 1988 Seoul Olympics and stands in Sinsan Park in Jeju City. Next to the tower is the Korean War Memorial Tower, and the large park has a playground and space for cycling. From 6 a.m., the Jeju City Sports Council runs daily sports classes that offer a different exercise each day for about 40 to 50 minutes. In early 2017, Pokémon GO users crowded the site, so it does not suit quiet viewing.
