Jeju Seongji is a fortress site near Dongmun Market where remaining stone walls are visible. According to the Annals of the Joseon Dynasty, it is presumed to have been built before 1411, and Oyeondan and Gyullim Seowon can be seen together at the site. The remaining walls are about 1 km long, stairs up to the site are hard to find, and entry is free. During the Japanese occupation, the walls were demolished and used to reclaim Jeju Port.
