Hwangsa Pyeong Catholic Shrine

Cheonjugyo Hwangsa Pyeong Seongji is a Catholic holy site about a 30-minute drive from Jeju City's airport, combining a martyrs' burial ground with a park cemetery. It holds the remains of believers killed during the 1901 Sinchuk Persecution and was established as a park cemetery in 1984. The site has a large parking lot, a columbarium, and a small church, with Mass at 3 p.m. Because the cemetery and columbarium are together, its character differs from that of an ordinary park.
