Myogwanumsa is a Buddhist temple on a coastal road near Imnang Beach in Gijang-gun, Busan, overlooking the East Sea. A small courtyard and garden sit together, and an unusual structural feature appears on the side of the Gwaneumjeon hall. Visitors can bow three times while moving through the Sansingak and Gwaneumjeon halls, and on the first day of the lunar month devotees spread mats inside and around the main hall for prayer. The grounds are low and quietly ordered.
