Horongbul is a makgeolli bar in Itaewon, Seoul, serving Korean anju and traditional liquor. The food is a Korean-style reinterpretation of anju, served alongside a range of traditional drinks. Nakji horong i is one of its representative dishes, and kkakttugi arrives as mango ice cream rather than the pickled radish its name suggests. Music is what you hear first on entering, and lighting is part of the space.
