California Roof

California Roof is a rooftop cafe in Istanbul within walking distance of the Egyptian Bazaar and near the Süleymaniye Mosque. It serves meals, drinks, desserts, cocktails, and hookah, including a spicy combo pide. From its high position, guests look down over the city and the night skyline, and blankets are provided on the outdoor seats until late autumn. Shakes, smoothies, iced tea, and iced cappuccino fall short in how well they are made.
