Caferaga Medresesi is a cafe behind Hagia Sophia that serves Turkish tea, coffee, desserts and food. It occupies an old Islamic school built by Mimar Sinan, where small rooms around a quiet courtyard host traditional art classes in ebru, calligraphy and ceramics. After touring Hagia Sophia, you can rest in the courtyard here on the way to the Istanbul Archaeology Museums. The pricing is difficult to understand.
