Iksan Geundae Yeoksagwan is a local history museum in Jungang-dong, Iksan, covering the modern and contemporary history of Iri and Iksan. Its first floor displays materials on the Japanese colonial period, the independence movement, the Korean War, and the democratization movement, while the second floor is used for children’s activities and education. The building was formerly Samsan Uiwon, and it also presents materials on the Iksan Station US bombing incident and the 1977 Iri Station explosion. There is no parking lot, and the surrounding roads are narrow.
