Tachigawaten is a small restaurant near Magok Station serving Japanese-style tendon topped with eggplant, shrimp, lotus root, kabocha squash, and perilla leaf. Alongside standard tendon, it serves curry tendon, karaage don, and oyakodon, with a sweet tare sauce drizzled over the rice. To get a table, go upstairs to the second floor, write your name on the reservation list, and wait. Cooking starts after you order, so food can take more than 15 minutes, and although the fried items are crisp, the standard tendon is oily and can quickly become heavy.
