Surim Sikdang Hongdae serves Chinese dishes centred on tantan noodles and gaji mandu, along with dongpa yuk deopbap and uyuk tangmyeon, and is within walking distance of Sangsu Station. The tantan noodles come in a pork bone broth topped with a soft-boiled egg and bean sprouts over chewy aged noodles, while the gaji mandu are filled with meat and fried to order. At the entrance, a kiosk issues an order ticket that you hand to staff, who then seat you, and bar seating and a child seat make solo dining or meals with children possible. The dongpa yuk deopbap pairs soft meat with a sweet glaze that goes with rice.
