Honkaz

Hongatsu is an old tonkatsu restaurant in an alley near the main gate of Hongdae, where the pork is trimmed by hand and pounded with a tenderizer before frying. Sets can be ordered with loin, tenderloin, or cheese tonkatsu together with naengmyeon. At the entrance menu board, write your name, party size, and the number of the dish you want, and staff call you in order; the wait is usually 20 to 30 minutes. The kimchi and danmuji on the tables are not kept in good sanitary condition.
