Dookki Tteokbokki Hongdae

Dukki Tteokbokki Hongdae is a tteokbokki buffet restaurant in Hongdae, Seoul where diners choose rice cakes, add-ins, and vegetables. They mix ingredients such as mala sauce and beef brisket into the tteokbokki sauce and boil it themselves. Ingredients and seasonings are taken from a salad bar and cooked at the table, and the mala sauce has run out late in the evening. The fried items, including gimmari, dumplings, and sweet potato, were hard even in the afternoon.
