Akiya Ramen is a counter-style restaurant in an alley near Hapjeong Station in Seoul that serves rich Japanese ramen. Its miso ramen comes with a thick broth, charred bean sprouts, soft pork belly chashu, and curly chijire noodles. Truffle shio, kuroshio, and mini chashu rice bowls are also available, and on weekday lunches seats open up quickly even when the shop is full. The space is small with only counter seats around the kitchen, so it is uncomfortable for groups to sit together.
