Mongs Club is a nightclub in Hongdae that draws both foreigners and Koreans. It plays songs heard in overseas clubs and music suited to group singing. Entry is free, and the bar gets crowded, at times so packed that intoxicated guests struggle to stand. There have been cases of security staff hitting guests or blocking them from leaving and demanding money.
