Mapo Rium

Maporium is a public lounge on the fifth floor of the Mapo Lifelong Learning Center in Hongdae, a seven-minute walk from Exit 9 of Hongik University Station. Visitors can read on beanbags or drink beverages at the cafe inside. The building opened as Mapo Library in 1980 after taking over the Ahyeon branch of the National Library of Korea, and moved to a new building in 1995. Food is not allowed, and only drinks are permitted.
